Petersburg, IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Police in Petersburg are trying to figure who used some heavy machines to partially tear down a home there.
Officials say on social media say it happened between 5:05 p.m. and 5:25 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of Sheridan Road. They say someone gained access to an excavator parked there and tore down the front half of the home.
No word on suspects, but police say you should call them if you have any information you can provide.
No one was home, and no one was hurt.
