CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — The University of Illinois’s college of Veterinary Medicine will be hosting its annual open house later this fall.

The event will be held on October 5 at the school, located on 2001 South Lincoln Avenue in Urbana.

The open house is a great way to learn about limitless opportunities in careers from animal care to public health to biomedical research.

The annual open house has a wide variety of events, including family-friendly activities, educational exhibits, and fascinating demonstrations.

Thousands attend the open house every year, which has informative booths and exhibits throughout the veterinary campus, including the large animal clinic, the basic sciences building, and the clinical skills learning center.

Most booths are open throughout the day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parking is free, and there will be refreshments and meals available for purchase.
