CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — I-74 has reopened, as of noon, after a semi-truck rollover earlier today.

6:40 a.m.: With temperatures dipping to below zero and snow on the forecast for the weekend, accidents resulting in road closures are to be expected.

On Saturday morning, Illinois State Police shared that a roll over crash resulted in a portion of Interstate 74 being closed. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash, and Illinois State Police and EMS are on scene at mile post 199.

Traffic on Interstate 74 will be diverted at the Ogden exit at milepost 196 as a result, and further information will be shared once the roadway is open.
