WELDON, IL (Chambana Today) — Severe storms caused significant damage in Weldon, including major impacts to a local school that will force closures on Tuesday.

Officials reported that the school, located just outside of town, lost approximately one-third of its roof during the storm. The extent of the damage has prompted administrators to cancel classes, noting that Tuesday will not be an e-learning day.
