URBANA, Ill (Chambana Today) — A 24-year-old man is in serious condition following a shooting Monday afternoon in Urbana, according to police.

At approximately 12:35 p.m. on September 8, Urbana Police officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1300 block of Dublin Street. Upon arrival, officers found the victim inside a residence, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators believe the man was shot outside and ran into a nearby home for help.
