Semi-truck rollover closed I-57 northbound at mile post 236 for hours

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, IL (Chambana Today) – A rollover crash involving a semi-truck forced the closure of all northbound lanes of Interstate 57 at mile post 236 at 11:03 p.m. According to local authorities, the semi blocked the entire roadway.

Emergency crews were on the scene working to clear the wreckage and assess the situation. No injuries have been confirmed at this time, but the closure lasted until 2:48 a.m.
