Restaurant Week returning to Champaign-Urbana starting January 30

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — The 10th annual Champaign-Urbana Area Restaurant Week will be happening later this month, beginning on January 30 and running until February 7.

This nine-day celebration will allow for food lovers to discover flavors that span the world from dozens of local restaurants. The diverse cuisine includes Indian, Laos, Mexican, Vietnamese, Italian, Zambian, Vegetatian, Vegan, soul food, farm-to-table, and standard American fare foods.

Local restaurants interested in participating are encouraged to contact Experience CU.

Here’s how Restaurant Week works:

  1. Find a restaurant: Search the list of restaurants and check out their menus in their listings below.
  2. Eat out often: Broaden your horizons and find many new favorites. Make reservations when possible, and dine at off-peak times on the weekends.
  3. Share your experience: Take pictures and share your experience with #CURestaurantWeek for a chance to win a $100 gift card to your Champaign-Urbana area restaurant of choice.
  4. Tip generously: Tip the staff to show your thanks for the hardworking hospitality industry!
