Residential Fire – 200 Block N Fourth St.

The Champaign Fire Department responded to a fire in a vacant single-family home and detached garage in the 200 block of N Fourth St., Saturday, November 29, at 3:44 p.m. Fire crews worked to extinguish this growing fire.

Firefighters responded to multiple reports of a fire in this single-story home. Once on the scene, crews found heavy smoke coming from the residence. Firefighters worked to extinguish this fire using multiple hose lines.          

The cause of this fire has not been determined as investigators remain on scene conducting their investigation.  There were no firefighter injuries reported.
