Registration open for Horizon Health Wear Red event in Paris

PARIS, Ill. — In recognition of American Heart Month, Horizon Health will host its annual Wear Red women’s event on Friday, Feb. 6, at the American Legion, located at 1031 N. Main St. in Paris.

The event will focus on heart health education and prevention, with Dr. Laney Robinson, a family medicine physician, speaking about heart disease in women, including common risk factors and practical ways to reduce them. Shannon Jones, cardiopulmonary rehab manager, will also lead a brief interactive session featuring simple, workplace-friendly exercises attendees can incorporate into their daily routines.

Community members are encouraged to wear red and invite sisters, daughters, coworkers, and friends to attend the event together.
