CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — Promise Healthcare will be celebrating the opening of Promise Healthcare – Kenyon, its new clinic on the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District (C-UPHD) campus, with a community open house and ribbon cutting event to take place on Wednesday, November 12 from 4 to 6 p.m. Guests will tour the clinic, meet care teams, enjoy light refreshments, and learn how the partnership with C-UPHD expands access to coordinated, patient-centered services.

“Through our partnership with the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District, we are uniting our strengths to better serve the community,” said Jennifer Henry, CEO of Promise Healthcare. “Together, we are creating a trusted, central location where families can access comprehensive care, reduce barriers, and improve overall health and well-being.”

Promise Healthcare – Kenyon will bring integrated services on one campus, including primary medical care, women’s health, prenatal care, behavioral counseling, and telehealth psychiatric care. Seamless connections to other C-UPHD programs like WIC, donor milk services, home visits, breastfeeding support, and doula services are also easily accessible. Assistance applying for Medicaid, Family Planning, and SNAP, immediate coverage options for pregnancy care and birth control are also provided. Dental services and a soon-to-open 340B pharmacy at the center’s Frances Nelson location, less than a mile away, also highlight what’s coming.

“We like to do the one-stop shop,” Henry added. “Patients can come to one place, get many of their needs met, and when there are services we don’t provide as an FQHC, we connect them directly to our partners at C-UPHD. It’s a great collaboration and a great way for community partners to come together for the patients.”
