CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – Illini Media Group welcomed Moore’s Rescue Ranch to the studio this morning with two kittens! Duane Shannon, from WIXY 100.3 cuddled with Roger and Tommy, a grey tabby and all blue/grey little boy. Check out Duane with these sweet boys on the WIXY Facebook page.

Moore’s Rescue Ranch has an upcoming fundraiser on September 20th at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Champaign from 1-4. There will be a silent auction with tons of great things to bid on and take home. There will be vendors on site and Buttercream Dreams will be providing cupcakes and cakes. This event is in honor of Lacey Moore, who died from a brain aneurism in 2019 at the age of 19. She worked at PetSmart and was a hug animal lover.

Thanks to our friends at Hoveln Heating & Cooling, Inc., we are able to help find homes for cats and dogs every week. Check-out Duane Shannon and the WIXY Facebook feed every Thursday morning for the latest video.
