CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) — Parkland College in Champaign County is on lockdown now following a reported shooting near Mattis Avenue and Parkland Way.

Campus police say two male suspects, dressed in black, are at large and on foot. Students, faculty, and staff have been advised to remain indoors and avoid the area until authorities give further instructions.

Authorities continue to investigate, and anyone with information is urged to contact local law enforcement.
