URBANA, Ill. (Chambana Today) — Family Service of Champaign County will host a mental wellness workshop on Thursday, Feb. 6, aimed at helping participants explore creative approaches to emotional well-being through music and art.

The workshop will take place from 8 a.m. to noon at CityView and will focus on introducing attendees to a variety of mental wellness techniques that use creative expression as a tool for stress management, self-reflection, and emotional regulation.

Organizers said the event is designed to provide practical strategies that participants can incorporate into their daily lives, regardless of prior experience with music or art. The workshop will include guided activities and discussions centered on how creative practices can support mental health.

Registration is available online through Eventbrite, and participants can also sign up using the QR code provided on the event flyer. Family Service of Champaign County said the workshop is part of its ongoing efforts to expand access to mental health education and supportive resources in the community.
