CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — For the first time in Illinois women’s basketball history, the luxury suites in the State Farm Center are sold out for the season.

The milestone is one of many firsts in the era of Shauna Green at Illinois.

“I’m absolutely thrilled that we have sold all of our suites for this upcoming season,” said Green. “This has never been done in program history, and I’m extremely grateful to everybody that made it happen. Sustained success is a team effort, and our fans are absolutely critical to our success. Thank you for your investment in us on behalf of our entire program.”

Season tickets to watch Illinois women’s basketball are still on sale, and can be purchased here, while limited season tickets for reserved seats are still available.

Last season, the Illinois women’s basketball team continued the program’s upward trajectory with another 22-win season, a third-straight postseason appearance, and the program’s first NCAA Tournament win in 25 seasons. The team tied the program record with four wins over AP Top 25 ranked opponents in last year’s campaign.

Since arriving at Illinois, Green has led the Illini to a 63-35 record, including a 30-24 mark in Big Ten play. In three seasons with her at the helm, the Illinois women’s basketball team has registered a program-best 63 wins, the first-ever postseason championship in program history (2024 WBIT), and three consecutive top five season attendances in State Farm Center. The Illini have also racked up six AP Top 25 ranked wins, secured double-digit home victories for three-straight seasons for the first time in program history, and brought in the No. 7-ranked recruiting class by ESPNW ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
