CHICAGO, Ill. (Chambana Today) — October 31, 2025 Halloween turned into a life-changing celebration for one Illinois Lottery player who won an $850,000 Lucky Day Lotto® jackpot with an online ticket. The winning numbers—2, 6, 14, 31, 40—were drawn during the Wednesday evening game on October 29.

More than 26,800 tickets claimed prizes in that night’s drawing, but only one matched all five numbers to secure the top prize. This win adds to a remarkable year for Lucky Day Lotto, which has awarded over $56.4 million in prizes to Illinois players in 2025 alone.

Lucky Day Lotto is exclusive to Illinois, with drawings held twice daily at 12:40 p.m. and 9:22 p.m. Tickets are available in stores, online, and through the Illinois Lottery app.
