SPRINGFIELD, IL (Chambana Today) — In honor of Memorial Day, all United States and Illinois state flags will be flown at half-staff from sunrise to noon on Monday, May 25, according to a notice from Governor JB Pritzker.

The directive applies to all persons and entities covered by the Illinois Flag Display Act, including state buildings and agencies. The observance serves as a reminder to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving the nation.
