SPRINGFIELD (Chambana Today) — The Illinois Department of Transportation is holding the Today’s Challenge, Tomorrow’s Reward conference on April 1 and 2 at the Crowne Plaza in Springfield.

Hosted by the IDOT’s Office of Business and Workforce Diversity, the conference provides female and minority-owned business with opportunities to make connections and develop skills to grow and succeed.

“Our commitment to supporting a diverse business community remains steadfast,” said Illinois Transportation Secretary Gia Biagi. “Now, more than ever, it is important to take advantage of opportunities to network across our industry.” ​

Celebrating its 35th gathering, Today’s Challenge, Tomorrow’s Reward offers workshops to build skills, seminars on best business practices and networking opportunities for businesses and contractors wanting to partner with IDOT through the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program.
