Details for 2025 Danville Night of Lights Parade & Carriage Rides

DANVILLE, Ill. (Chambana Today) — Downtown Danville will hold its Night of Lights Parade, one of the city’s biggest holiday traditions.

You can bundle up, sip on hot cocoa, and celebrate the magic of the holiday season on Friday, December 5 at 6 p.m. This year’s theme is “Deck the Halls”!

The parade will go down Vermilion Street, starting at William and ending at Towne Center. Find a place along the route. Parade announcements will take place under the Fischer Theatre Marquee.

Dazzling floats, shining lights, and festive displays from local and surrounding businesses, organizations, and individuals will head down Vermilion Street. The afternoon will start with a Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides around the block in Downtown Danville from 1 to 5 p.m. Carriages will be stationed next to Fischer Theatre on Harrison Street. The Vermilion County Conservation Foundation is sponsoring carriage rides for the community.
