CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — Shoppers looking to finish their holiday preparations can still find fresh pies, baked goods and gift items at a local orchard and farm market, which will remain open through Dec. 23.

The orchard is encouraging customers to place online bakery orders by Dec. 21 for pickup on Dec. 23, giving families a chance to secure holiday pies and desserts ahead of Christmas gatherings. In addition to bakery items, the store offers a selection of seasonal gifts and locally made products suitable for holiday giving.

While the growing season has largely wrapped up, a limited selection of late-season apples remains available in store, including popular varieties such as Honeycrisp, GoldRush and Pink Lady. The market also continues to carry select local products, and staff recommend calling ahead to confirm availability as supplies change, 217-359-5565, ext. 0 to verify availability beforehand. Customers are reminded to wash all produce before use.

With extended seasonal hours through Dec. 23, the orchard provides a final opportunity for residents to shop local, pick up holiday desserts and cross a few more items off their gift lists before the holiday arrives.
