GIFFORD, IL (Chambana Today) — A major consignment auction is set to return to Gordyville USA this summer, with organizers now actively seeking sellers looking to turn equipment into cash.

The two-day event, hosted in partnership with Westfork Auction, is scheduled for June 5 and 6, and is open to the public.

Organizers say the event plays an important role not just for the agricultural sector, but for the broader community.

“This event is definitely important for everyone,” said Jeremiah Minton. “We understand the area is huge in agriculture, but it also helps grow the community and other businesses. It assists everyone in making that happen.”

Auction organizer Jeremiah said the goal is to bring people together while creating opportunities.

“We just want everybody to come out,” Minton said. “We’re trying to get more exposure and bring people together while still doing what the auction is meant to do — sell equipment.”

The auction offers individuals and businesses a chance to reach a large audience of qualified buyers in a competitive bidding environment, supported by strong advertising and promotion.

“If you’ve been thinking about selling, this is the auction to do it,” the event listing states.

Organizers say they are still actively accepting consignments and are encouraging people to reach out.

“100 percent, we’re still looking for consigners,” Minton said. “We’d prefer to have a lot of large equipment, but really, we’re open to anything that fits in that equipment category.”

Items being accepted include farm equipment, construction equipment, trucks and trailers, lawn and garden equipment, tools and more.

“We’re looking for bigger pieces like tractors, track hoes, backhoes, lifts, trailers and trucks,” Minton said. “But there’s a lot that fits into that category — and we like it all.”

The event is expected to draw strong regional interest, with organizers emphasizing accessibility for both experienced auction participants and first-time sellers.

Those interested in consigning items can contact organizers by calling 217-568-7117 or by email at Jeremiah@gordyvilleusa.com to have equipment listed ahead of the sale.
