CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) — Champaign Unit 4 School District is hosting three open houses this month to gather community input on the future of its middle school facilities.

The sessions will cover planning considerations for Edison Middle School, Franklin STEAM Academy, Garden Hills Academy, International Prep Academy, and Jefferson Middle School. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about current proposals, ask questions, and share feedback. The same presentation will be given at each session, so community members only need to attend one.

The open house schedule is as follows:

  • Tuesday, May 12, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at International Prep Academy, 1611 W. Kirby Avenue
  • Wednesday, May 13, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Jefferson Middle School, 1115 Crescent Drive
  • Thursday, May 14, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Franklin Middle School, 817 N. Harris Avenue.
