CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — A long-standing early childhood education center in Champaign is at risk of closing its doors due to unexpectedly low enrollment.

My Morning Out, located on Broadmoor Drive, serves local families with quality preschool programming—but staff say without an increase in enrollment or community support, the future of the center is uncertain.

“We rely mostly on word-of-mouth to fill our classrooms,” said one teacher. “But this year, numbers are down and we’re doing everything we can to stay open.”

The center has launched an online fundraiser to help cover operational costs and is urging families to consider enrolling their children for the current or upcoming sessions.

Those who wish to help can donate at: givebutter.com/4oFhPG/maggiekeeley or learn more about the school at: www.mmo-cu.org.

My Morning Out also shares updates and events on its Facebook page.
