CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, IL (Chambana Today) — A meeting scheduled for tonight to discuss a possible data center moratorium in Champaign County has been postponed.

Officials say the meeting of the Champaign County Zoning Board of Appeals will be rescheduled at a later date, though a new time has not yet been announced.

The meeting had been expected to address a proposed moratorium related to the development of data centers in the county.

Residents and interested parties are encouraged to check the Champaign County Zoning Board of Appeals website for official updates and information once the new meeting date is set.

County officials say another notice will be sent out ahead of the rescheduled meeting.
