Champaign County Sheriff’s Office investigating St. Joseph Middle School teacher for displaying explicit images

ST. JOSEPH, Ill. (Chambana Today) — The Champaign County Sheriff’s Office confirmed on Wednesday that it is investigating an incident that occurred on the morning of September 11 at St. Joseph Middle School.

During a classroom presentation, a teacher displayed photographs from a personal trip related to current events. While sharing the images, a thumbnail image depicting the teacher allegedly engaged in a sexual act was inadvertently displayed.

The Sheriff’s Office is actively working in coordination with school officials as part of this investigation. At the time, there is no indication that the image was intentionally shown. This remains an ongoing investigation and no further details will be released at this time.
