Carle Health to honor more than 40 nurses with $54,000 in scholarships Thursday

URBANA, IL (Chambana Today) — Carle Health will host its annual Nursing Scholarship and Award Ceremony Thursday morning, May 21, at Carle Foundation Hospital, honoring more than 40 nurses with more than $54,000 in scholarships and awards.

The ceremony, hosted by the Carle Health Center for Philanthropy, celebrates nursing excellence and supports advanced education, certifications, and professional development across the health system. With nearly 5,000 nurses across Carle’s service area, including more than 2,000 in the Champaign-Urbana area, the scholarships are funded through donor support.

The event begins at 9 a.m. in The Forum at Carle Foundation Hospital, 611 W. Park St. in Urbana.
