CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — The Champaign public Works Traffic and Lighting section recently upgraded several pedestrian signals at Campus intersections, which look to improve visibility.

Stacked “Walk/Don’t Walk” indicators and countdown timers have been replaced with larger side-by-side displays. These new signals offer better visibility for both pedestrians and motorists.

The new signals have been installed at the following intersectrions:

  • Green and First
  • Green and Fourth
  • Green and Sixth
  • Green and Wright
  • Fourth and Daniel
  • Sixth and John
