CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — The Champaign-Urbana Kiwanis Club is hosting its University of Illinois Men’s Basketball Tip-Off charity event later this fall.
The C-U Kiwanis Club is an association of conscientious civic leaders who focus on improving the community by making positive and lasting differences in the lives of children and youth.
The event will take place at the I Hotel Convention Center in Champaign on Wednesday, September 3rd, starting at 5 p.m. This will be the C-U Kiwanis Club’s 101st time hosting the event.
The event will help raise money to assist in the various philanthropic endeavors that Kiwanis undertakes to assist the community. Ticket prices for the event are $65 per person for adults and $20 per child for kids aged 12 years and younger.
