Two guys with beards and a guy named Beard. Coming to a theatre near you. In this case, The Virginia Theatre.
ZZ Top will play the historic theatre in downtown Champaign on September 12th. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees will roll through Champaign as part of their Tonnage Tour of North America
Also, previously announced were classic rockers Kansas who will play on October 13th at 7:30.
Other shows coming to the Virginia in 2017-2018 include:
- Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt on November 4th
- Comedienne Lily Tomlin on November 9th
- Paula Poundstone on January 12th
- Improv comedy troupe Second City on March 10th
Annual events such as the Pens to Lens (Aug 12th) and the 20th Annual Roger Ebert Film Festival (April 18-22) will return to the theatre.
The Rewind 92.5 movie series will also continue in 2017-2018.
