…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CST THIS
EVENING…

* WHAT…Rain changing to snow by early afternoon, then snow
diminish during early evening. Total snow accumulations of 1 to
2 inches are expected by early evening. Localized areas could
reach up to 3 inches.

* WHERE…Portions of central, east central and southeast
Illinois.

* WHEN…From noon today to 9 PM CST this evening.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions developing this
afternoon and early evening. The hazardous conditions will
likely impact the late afternoon commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…North winds gusting as high as 25 to 35
mph today could cause some minor blowing and drifting snow this
afternoon and early evening especially north of I-70.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
