It seems as if the end has come for a Champaign restaurant.
Leadbelly’s Links, Drinks, and Arcade has deactivated their Facebook page. The restaurant was closed Friday morning and workers were removing the arcade games.
The restaurant grew out of the Fluid Events Center which ceased operations as an events center in late 2016. Leadbelly’s officially opened in January of 2017.
The Fluid Events company recently announced that it would not be organizing a Blues, Brews, and BBQ festival this year.
The venue was known for its support for the live music community.
