Hospice Hearts to hold adoption event Sunday

If you’re in the market for a new furry friend, Hospice Hearts has some kittens that are looking for homes.

They are holding an adoption event on Sunday at Pet Supplies Plus on Kirby Ave. in Champaign from 1-5. They are featuring kittens that have been treated, vaccinated, fixed, and microchipped for just $25.

These cats came to Hospice Hearts from shelters in Southern Illinois who were out of space, after being rescued from an animal hoarding situation.

Hospice Hearts asks for those who intend to adopt an animal, and take them home on Sunday, to fill out an application here. They ask that you put “SO IL Hoarding under “Name of Animal”.

There will be a 24 hour waiting period for those that fill out an application during the event.

Volunteers are also needed for this event. Contact Hospice Hearts for more information.
