The bridge that carries Bradley Avenue over I-57 will close to traffic for a major reconstruction project.
The bridge will close from March 20th through November. Bradley Avenue will be closed to traffic near the bridge for the entirety of the construction project.
The project will replace the bridge, adding two 11-foot traffic lanes, two 6-foot bicycle lanes, and two 6-foot sidewalks.
The City of Champaign and IDOT will hold an open house on Thursday March 14th to answer any questions about the project. It will be from 6:00-7:00pm in room D-244 at Parkland College.
