Volunteers. An organization fell short in their commitment to the marathon and left us with a bunch of empty postitions! We have to fill all members of the "course team" or we can't have a marathon; your job will be to keep runners safe at intersections and keep them running in the correct direction. Pre-Race Show presented by Christie Clinic. We'll be broadcasting from the start line from 5am-8am with special guests, notable runners, and traffic and weather. We'll be joined by a special co-host - Kathrine Switzer, the first woman to register and run the Boston Marathon! The show is sponsored by Trophy Time, Hoveln Heating & Cooling, Champaign County Sports Commission, BigBoyToyTrader.com, The Cutting Edge Paint Company, and Sterling Auto Body of Danville.

Post Race Party Everyone is invited to the party from 11am to 6pm at First and Kirby. There will be live music, inflatables for the kids, and food available.
