Rapper M.C. Hammer is facing a bill of almost $800,000 from U.S. authorities over allegations he owes taxes dating back to his 1990s hey day.

The “U Can’t Touch This” hitmaker and his wife, Stephanie, have been targeted by officials at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), amid claims they failed to submit income tax payments for the years 1996 and 1997.

IRS representatives have filed suit in a bid to regain $798,033 and they want to redirect all the star’s future earnings to the U.S. treasury in a bid to settle the debt, according to TMZ.com.
