Dear Dr. J,
I am 25 years old and have had ongoing kidney stone issues since I was a sophomore in high school (you were my doctor in the ER once!). After numerous visits to the ER, every urologist in town (literally) and several thousand dollars in medical bills, no one has offered me information on why they continue to form. I have altered my diet via various doctor suggestions as well as suggestions from website like WebMD and tried exercising more- after several years with these issues I’m very conscious and aware of what I eat that could make the issue better or worse. Do you have any suggestions as to why this continues to be an issue for me? Please help!
