The Mix School-a-Palooza tour wrapped up Saturday, but obviously my brain is still spinning like the Mix Prize Wheel! I tried to get all fancy with a graphic to click on, but alas – I’m a foodie, not a techie. So click HERE for the article.
Not sure what to do with those beets? Tired of zucchini bread? (not sure how THAT could happen) This recipe generator links produce available at this point of the season along with herbs and a method of cooking, and gives you a great recipe!

yellow squash (noticing a trend here?)
red and green peppers
Yes, Moore Family Farm had DUCK EGGS this week! I’ve heard that they are delicious and rich and incredible, so now I can find out for myself.
And beets! I’m suddenly hooked on beets with goat cheese (recipe is a few blog entries back).
Join me this Saturday at the Urbana Market at the Square, which runs through November 2nd. Sunny and 75 this weekend? Sounds good to me!
